Ward was a born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. Ward attended Ouachita high school in the parish to complete her secondary schooling. She then moved to River Oaks High School the season following her senior year. After a short period of time, after graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward began modeling at the age of thirteen and left her high school to move into New York. Several years later she decided to try acting. She was first cast uncredited in the late 1970s for the soap-opera All My Children. Later, she was cast in NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. The morning soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the female Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999 she started a film career and starred in The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. The film did not earn money at the theatre, it was successful both on DVD and cable TV.
